Decided to fry up the four walleye I brought home from my Labour Day trip to Hunters Lake.Tried this recipe I found on a fishing website from Wisconsin.Wash fillets and then coat them with flour.Next drench them in egg and small amount of milk and coat them with crushed corn flakes.Gently put fillets in a fry pan with bubbling hot shortening or lard and cook 2-3 minutes/side.This guy really stresses the shortening as it helps the cooking process and flavour(I won,t tell my cardiologist)But man was it good! Some homefries and coleslaw-what more could you ask for!Best regards, john k
