hello Oarin. i had a feeling i would see a response from you on this. sooo, have you dusted off your ice fishing gear yet? i have allready ordered some of those colored "EURO" spikes. and since my zercom marine flasher died last year, i purchased the new Vexilar flasher. Tim and i are planning a trip to lake ERIE for a Walleye foray as soon as we can ride the ATV's safely on the ice. i guess you drive a few miles out on the ice, so we will see. we will go out of Dunkirk N.Y. see if you can go too. okay back to Kipawa, have any of you good people ice fished KIpawa ? if so, how thick does the ice get ? how is the Walleye bite in the winter ? do people use tent's or shanty's ? can you fish for Lake trout ? Oarin and i fish in the Laniel area in the summer, but we have not fished it in the winter. thank you for any info. !!
